Privacy Policy.

This policy explains how The Hoadley Group handles information collected through thehoadleygroup.com. It applies to this site only. Our operating companies — Barefoot Realty & Investments LLC (saltwaterestates.com), Hoadley Construction, Sterling Route (sterlingroute.com), and Lakeside Landing FLX (lakesidelandingflx.com) — maintain their own privacy notices governing their respective platforms.

The Hoadley Group serves family offices, advisors, and private clients. Discretion is foundational to how we operate. The practices described below reflect that posture.

Inquiry submissions. When you contact us through one of the three intake modes (General, Advisor, or Direct & Discreet), we receive your name, email address, organization, an optional phone number, and the message you choose to write.

Attribution data. On your first visit, we record basic source information in your browser's session storage — referring URL, landing page, and any campaign parameters (UTM, gclid, fbclid). If you submit an inquiry, that context is attached to the email so the principal understands how you found us. If you do not submit an inquiry, the data is discarded when your session ends.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, user agent, and requested URL — under its normal log retention policies.

Optional analytics. If we run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Google Ads pixels, those tools load only after you accept the cookie consent banner. They do not run by default.

Calendly bookings. If you choose to schedule a meeting through our Calendly link (calendly.com/hoadleygroup), Calendly handles that flow directly. We see the booking once it lands on the calendar.

Your inquiry is read by the principal, Ben Hoadley, and used to respond to you and prepare for any conversation that follows. We do not add inquirers to a marketing list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share inquiry data with third parties except the service providers listed below who help deliver the message itself.

Advisor referrals are held inside the engagement. Client identities and matters are withheld by default and discussed only with parties to the work.

The site sets only the cookies required to function until you interact with the consent banner. If you accept, the following may load: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads conversion tracking. If you decline, none of these load. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's storage in your browser.

Session storage (used for attribution) is not a cookie and is cleared when you close the tab.

We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the site:

• Resend delivers inquiry emails to the principal. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Calendly powers the optional scheduling link. See calendly.com/privacy.
• Vercel hosts the site and handles server logging. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) loads only with consent. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Each vendor processes data under its own terms.

Inquiry emails are retained for as long as is reasonable to respond and follow up — typically through the life of any active conversation, then archived. Attribution data attached to an inquiry is retained with that email. Attribution data from visits that do not result in an inquiry is discarded at session end. Server logs follow Vercel's retention schedule. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings.

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or opt out of analytics, at any time. Email ben@thehoadleygroup.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Residents of jurisdictions with specific privacy rights (including California and the EU/UK) may exercise those rights through the same address.

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update the “Last updated” date when this policy changes. Substantive changes will be flagged with a notice on the site for a reasonable period.
